How can we help?

Press "Start your own community" on Discover, fill in its name and look, and pick a plan. On Free (one per owner, no card) it is created at once; on Hobby or Pro it is created once its checkout on Whop is finished.

Each community has its own plan. Free is $0 for up to 20 members, one per owner. Hobby is $9 a month or $81 a year with unlimited members, and Pro is $99 a month or $891 a year with unlimited members, in US dollars, billed through Whop at checkout. Free needs no card.

Open your community's Settings and choose Cancel plan, or cancel in your Whop account. Cancelling stops the next charge: the plan is set to end at the close of the period you already paid for (if Whop ends it sooner, Settings says so). When it ends: A community of 20 members or fewer moves to Free, if it would be your only Free community: it keeps taking new members up to 20 and stays on Discover. A bigger one keeps its members but takes no new ones, and isn't listed on Discover, until you restart a plan in its settings. Restarting a plan that ended is charged at its checkout.

We don't refund part of a month or year, or a period you didn't use, unless the law where you live requires it. Moving a community from Hobby to Pro, or deleting a community, does not refund the payment already made for the current period (month or year). If you were charged by mistake, for example twice for the same month, send us a message below.

The community owner: when you pay to join, you buy from them, not from Akademya. Ask the owner first.

When you charge your members, each payment carries one fee, card fees included: 10% + 30¢ on Free and Hobby, and 2.7% + 30¢ on Pro. On Free and Hobby, Akademya keeps 7.3% and the rest (2.7% + $0.30) is Whop's card fee; on Pro, all of it is Whop's card fee and Akademya takes nothing. These are for a domestic card: international cards may cost more. Example: charge $9 a month and you keep $7.80 of each payment on Free or Hobby, $8.46 on Pro. A member's fee is fixed when they join: if you change plan later, the new fee applies to new members only. The fee comes out of the owner's side. Member prices are in the money each owner sets, US dollars or Philippine pesos, at least $9 a month (or ₱499 in pesos). Members who joined before 21 October 2026 keep the fee they joined at (Akademya's 10% on Hobby or 5% on Pro, plus Whop's card fee) until their subscription ends.

Use "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page: we email you a link that works once, for 30 minutes.

Sign in to that account, then send us a message below while signed in: a message sent signed out is not accepted as a deletion request, because anyone can type an address. We check nothing is still billing you, reply to confirm, then delete it. If you own a community, delete it first in its settings; deleting it does not refund the current period.
